In recent years, Animal Crossing has included more obscure animals in their roster, including anteaters. As of 2021, the series now boasts ten of these insect-devouring mammals. Even though most these guys are sweet, Olaf's style is peculiar. Even though he's meant to resemble a matador, his outfit, twirled hair, and eye mascara makes him come across like a bad Michael Jackson impersonator.

Because of his disproportionally long snout, his hair by comparison looks like a receding combover, making Olaf seem like a bit of a creep.

I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but since Olaf is as much of a smug jerk as he appears, you can understand why the villagers don't bother with him.
