20 Upcoming Games That COULD Be Better Than GTA VI

No game on this list has more potential than Star Citizen - the mind-bogglingly complex space trading and combat simulation game which was first announced way back in 2012 and has since amassed more than $1 billion (!) in funding.

But potential is the key word here, because it was originally expected to release in 2014 and has since been subject to countless delays, largely attributed to its ever-expanding scope.

It's therefore a game which could very well be one of the most detail-rich and meticulously crafted of all time - one of the few capable of matching Rockstar's fastidious level of mega-budget exactitude, but this all hinges on it ever actually coming out.

Many once-excited players have long since written off Star Citizen as a "scam," or perhaps more reasonably, an intriguing project whose lack of managerial discipline might prevent it from ever being released.

But if it does actually release in due course while showing its massive budget to be money well spent, it's going to be one of the greatest games of all time.
