20 Upcoming Video Games Absolutely NOBODY Wants

Even though it's had some wobbles in recent years, the popularity of the Halo franchise is undeniable, and there are surely millions of players anxiously anticipating the series' next mainline installment following the divisive Halo Infinite.

But late last year, Halo Studios announced that the franchise's next release would be Halo: Campaign Evolved, an Unreal Engine 5 remake of the original Halo's story campaign.

While Campaign Evolved looks undeniably gorgeous, considering that the Combat Evolved Anniversary remaster still looks and plays great, and we're now over four years removed from Halo Infinite, many fans are understandably frustrated that the series is going back to the nostalgia well once again.

Sure, there are those who just want more Halo any way they can get it, but with this remake making divisive changes to the original campaign while not including the much-loved multiplayer suite, it all ends up feeling a bit unnecessary and half-baked.

Though there are some PS5 owners presumably looking forward to experiencing Halo for the first time, Xbox Game Studios would be better off just releasing The Master Chief Collection on PS5 and focusing their efforts on the game fans actually want - Halo 7.
