20 Upcoming Video Games Absolutely NOBODY Wants
15. Turok: Origins
While there's definitely the fan desire to see a new entry into the Turok franchise, not like this.
Turok: Origins, the series' first major effort in almost 20 years, immediately raised many eyebrows with the announcement that it was designed to be played from a third-person perspective.
Though the game will launch with the ability to toggle to the series' traditional first-person viewpoint, to many the refusal to commit fully to the classic first-person perspective felt like a cynical attempt to broaden Turok's appeal to a wider audience.
On top of this it simply doesn't look all that Turok, with the alien threat taking up as much room as the dinosaurs, which combined with an over-familiar art-style makes this look like a generic shooter someone lent the Turok branding to.
It'd be great to be wrong about this one, but a Turok-in-name-only multiplayer shooter that de-emphasises several of the series' core elements? It's a tough sell.
