Grand Theft Auto V's open world hides dozens of unique random encounters with NPCs for the player to discover.
Most of these encounters are more about the experience than the reward, as they don't really offer anything besides a small chunk of change for completing them. This said, there is one random NPC that can secretly give you $60,000 for rescuing her.
The catch is that it can be very easy to miss her, and if you don't help her in time, your chance at earning the big bucks is gone with her, too.
Near North Point next to the Paleto Bay area, you can find two gangsters trying to bury a woman alive. Once you encounter them, you have a small amount of time to stop them (by shooting them in the face, of course) and then interact with their victim before she is killed. If you manage to make your heroic rescue in time, the girl will thank you and ask you to drive her home.
Fulfilling the request doesn't seem to do anything at first, but after a short while, the victim's family will actually send you $60,000 for stopping her captors.
Sometimes, even the hardened criminals can benefit from helping people.
