The lobby in Phasmophobia features a closed, inaccessible metal door to the staff room. Fans of the game have always wandered what might be hidden behind it, and on Halloween 2022 the secret of this area was finally revealed… sort of.

The 2022 Halloween event featured a special easter egg where, if you looked through the glass window in the lobby door, you could actually peek into it a little.

Looking inside revealed an outline of a ghost, and when you tried to turn around, a demonic circle suddenly spawned in front of you with five sheet-covered ghosts whispering in an evil tone.

Loud bells rang afterwards, and when you stepped inside the circle, the ghosts flew into you, disappearing and leaving behind their sheets.

The secret of the staff room was a guaranteed Alt + F4 moment, but if morbid curiosity makes you eager to experience it anyway, unfortunately, the easter egg was a one-time thing made specifically for Phasmophobia’s 2022 Halloween event.

Well, at least you know what’s inside the staff room now—an invitation to a heart-stopping, bladder-releasing nightmare fuel.
