20 Video Game Secret Areas You Only Have ONE Chance To Discover
9. Coalition Warship Archer - Disco Elysium
Disco Elysium is set in the fictional world of Elysium. The world is filled with things that feel familiar but still different to our real-world equivalents of them, such as Elysium’s geography, cultures, and technology.
Speaking of technology, one of the more interesting parts of Disco Elysium’s tech is the aerostatics, giant flying airships that you only get to see a glimpse of on the game’s menu screen.
This said, there is a secret ending that lets you get aboard one.
If only for a one-way trip.
If you begin the side mission of the moralist ideology, “Take on la Responsibilité,” and then help discover the two-millimeter hole anomaly in the church, you unlock the option to report your findings to one of the Moralintern aerostatics in the area.
If you commit to this interaction and communicate with the airship's control, a smaller aircraft will come for you to escort you aboard the Coalition Warship Archer.
You get a brief description of the aircraft, and then the game comes to a sudden game over, describing how Harry mysteriously disappeared after reporting the anomaly.
On one hand, you get a small glimpse into the cool aerostatics flying above Revachol. On the other, you just doomed your character to being kidnapped by a secret international task force.
Oh well.
