PC: 83% | PS4: 84% | XBO: 83%
In a world where mankind is divided between normal humans and those who are biomechanically enhanced, you control Adam Jensen, an augmented double agent meant to infiltrate and expose the Illuminati.
This sci-fi action game is set in 2029 and it's a direct sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The game is a FPS/RPG hybrid that also incorporates stealth and forms of lethal or non-lethal subjugation, all subject to a player's discretion and play style.
Dialogue with non-playable characters and decisions you make across the progression of the game adds dimension to playthrough as how you go about things can close (or further) a mission, cause scenarios to occur differently based on past actions, and even allow boss fights to be circumvented in some instances. All of this means that there is merit to replaying the game and attempting different styles of play.
Deus Ex is an ambitious project that attempts to explore the hostile relationship between normal humans and those enhanced, whilst exploring the ramifications.
