Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is similarly harsh with players who don’t know how to act as the original did. While the game does not feature a special crime ending in the introduction, the first mission, “Last Rites," comes with a unique game over screen for failing it.

The first mission in the game is a siege battle where Henry has to defend the fortress of Suchdol from the attacking Praguers' army. The quest consists of a few simple sections that teach you the basics of combat, one of which is the defense of the front gates.

To finish the objective, you have to help the defending soldiers fend off the attackers by killing the Praguers who breached your defenses.

The combat isn’t too hard, so as long as you don’t just stand there, it’s pretty much impossible to fail the objective. Then again, no one’s stopping you from being completely useless, either.

If you don’t participate in the fight at all, eventually the game will fade to black and give you a game over screen, telling you that the attackers took over the fortress.

Considering this is one of over twenty game over screens with a unique message, it’s fair to say that this is the developers’ special way of telling you to pick up your slack.
