Was there any video game protagonist more adorable in 2018 than Moss' Quill?

The swashbuckling, pint-sized rodent protagonist of this VR platformer insta-classic was a joy to look at and even more of a thrill to play, with her snappy manoeuvrability, terrific animation and forthright quest to rescue her uncle from the evil fire-breathing snake Sarffog.

Moss did a fantastic job making the player care about Quill within mere moments of starting the game, no doubt aided by PSVR's added sense of immersion.

This instantly cemented her status as one of PSVR's marquee icons, and fans are chomping at the bit for the currently in-development follow-up.

Even if you're sceptical about VR, give Moss a go and just try not to fall in love with its mighty, miniature hero.
