18. Hearing Stan Lee Introduce Spider-Man (2000)
https://youtu.be/1yndr441-Wo?t=280 How insane is it that the first PS1 Spidey game actually came out in 2000? It feels like a lifetime ago - but incredibly, it still holds up very well today, thanks in no small part to the overwhelming amount of fan-service packed into every nook and web-filled cranny. Seriously, everyone from Daredevil to The Punisher makes an appearance here at some point, with Neversoft's first foray into handling the mythos a resoundingly strong one - but it's the very first few seconds as the iconic, messianic Stan Lee (creator of the character, and almost everything related to Marvel over the years) narrates the Web-Head's opening level. From there it was legendary moment after legendary moment as things like tracking down The Lizard inside the game's sewers, teaming up with Venom to tackle some symbiotes and unlocking all manner of awesome costumes along the way made this entire experience one of the best Marvel tie-ins of all time. If you played this as a kid and are reading over this entry, chances are the nostalgia emanating from your very core is so potent you could bottle it.
