25 Video Game Mechanics That Simply Don't Work In Real Life

The stamina wheel is certainly a mechanic which definitely only makes sense in gaming. While it means you must be strategic with how you do physical exertion, it just doesn't translate over to the real world quite as well.

Picture this: you're completing a physical activity such as going for a lovely morning jog, or cycling. However, after about ten seconds of activity, you must stop and wait for your stamina wheel to recharge.

Never fear - simply place your hands on your hips, bend over for a second, pant a couple of times, and you'll be right as rain for another ten seconds. You can continue doing this for as long as you like; exercise may get you out of breath more often than normal, but it'll never completely destroy you and stop you from doing things.
