It's a well known fact that getting shot really hurts. Probably for quite a long period of time. If you pull through, it'll be hurting for a good long while afterwards.

Bullets in videogames do not work the same as their real-life counterparts. Most characters can be shot multiple times with barely a scratch, and if you are shot more than you should be, simply duck for cover, regenerate your health, chug some medicine or give your teammate a friendly pat on the back and they'll be perfectly fine afterwards.

Trust us, it really doesn't work that way in real life. We'd highly recommend not testing it.
