George Miller returns to the Mad Max franchise for the first time in 30 years, with Tom Hardy taking the title role in this spiritual sequel that looks set to be the craziest action flick of 2015. According to Miller, the movie is essentially one single, long chase sequence, and from the footage shown off so far, this looks to be the most insane and visually stunning of all the Max films. Though there's no Mel Gibson this time, Hardy is an excellent choice to replace him, and as heroine Imperator Furiosa, Charlize Theron looks to bring a feisty female presence to the movie as well. If it lives up to its promise, this could be a modern action classic on par with the original two movies.
