41 Must Buy Video Games Of 2014

3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt €“ TBA (PS4, XBO, PC)

Geralt€™s trilogy will end in this massively hyped adventure. This series has without a doubt some of the strongest dialogue you will ever come across in gaming along with intense choices to make that don€™t have immediately readable consequences. This is also an action WRPG though, and fortunately it is being touted as 20% bigger than Skyrim. A game this big in scope with brilliant storytelling to boot is unprecedented and wishful thinking until now. This could seriously be one of the most groundbreaking games ever made, and that€™s without even mentioning the stunning graphics.

2. Metal Gear Sold 5: The Phantom Pain €“ TBA (PS3, PS4, 360, XBO)

What else can I say that the trailer doesn€™t say? This is Hideo Kojima conjuring up his legendary characters and forging some new characters for one more masterpiece centered on the horrors of war. This iteration of Metal Gear isn€™t just about the story however, and is coming with drastic gameplay improvements. Kojima is taking his franchise open world, implementing transportation and day/night cycles, revamping CQC combat, and more. Kiefer Sutherland voicing Big Boss should be amazing too.

1. Uncharted 4 €“ TBA (PS3)

Naughty Dog revolutionized gaming with Uncharted 2, nailing a cinematic vibe that literally makes you feel like you€™re playing a Hollywood blockbuster film. Their stunning graphical engine is unearthly but still played second fiddle to moments of pure shock like platforming around an upside down sinking ship. They also have created one of the most emotional and unforgettable games with The Last of Us. Anything Naughty Dog does should be on every gamer€™s radar.
