5 Reasons Horizon Zero Dawn Could Underwhelm

1. Tiresome Side Quests

As lush, compelling and massive as the world map is, it's hard filling in all that space with unique quests. Final Fantasy XV delivered the largest in-game world map to date, but activities became repetitive as you moved between areas.

It's unlikely the side quests in Horizon: Zero Dawn will each be entirely unique – no-one could possibly expect such an endeavour – but it would be a shame to see an Assassin's Creed-style series of 'capture this' or 'kill that' with the objectives only slightly increasingly in difficulty or complexity as you move through the various zones.

Gorilla Games look set to deliver an open-world with an intriguing past that we can explore deeper through the numerous side quests – we just hope they don't get boring before we've discovered it all.
