5 Reasons Why The PS4 Controller Is The Ultimate Improvement

5. Batteries Not Included

Ps4 Batteries For three generations Sony has allowed its consumers to not rely on the limited life of batteries, instead providing a series of controllers that focus on plug-in extensions and Bluetooth compatibility. Ever since the first DualShock introduced on the original PlayStation, Sony has followed suit with these design choices while the execs at Microsoft made the decision to move from the plug-in extension of the original Xbox to a battery-operated model with the Xbox 360. Using plug-ins and Bluetooth software has always been one of those design choices that helped Sony along the way, and the new and improved DualShock 4 is no different. Running on a USB charge port and a 3.7 V 800 mAh Li-on battery, it charges faster but that doesn't necessarily mean a longer battery life. It would have been a great refinement if Sony made the DualShock 4 last on a longer charge, but what's here is more than enough. Where Microsoft released the Xbox One with the rendition of operating on AA batteries once again, Sony remains on track for the next generation thanks to their ability to take notes on the DualShocks.
