5 Video Games The Media Always Get Wrong (And 5 That Could Change Their Minds)

5 Games That Could Change Their Minds...

Still bearing with me after all that ranting? Good. Now, clearly, there are very few games that grace those ever-delightful news reports, so let€™s talk about the ones that don€™t. The ones we love, the ones that reinstall our love of this art form. Some are violent, some are not, though they never make it to the headlines, maybe because they aren€™t that horrific after all. Or maybe it€™s the fact that everyone in the English speaking world knows what Grand Theft Auto is and couldn€™t name a single other video game but something affiliated with Mario, it€™s time to get more games in the headlines (and with any luck these just might have a positive headline).

5. (Actually Play) The Grand Theft Auto Series

GTA17 It is obvious from the videos shown above no one protesting this game has ever actually played any of the games. They always mention the killing of innocent civilians but do they know that is not the point of the game. Did they know you can walk through the entire game without taking the life of one NPC? They need to realize the reason we play this series is for the incredible stories, the unforgettable missions, the unbelievable set pieces, the beautifully recreated time periods, and the amazing soundtracks that occupy them. They need to experience what it is like to find the best car in the game, cruise it around the neon drenched streets of Vice City all while Billie Jean by the late great Michael Jackson plays in the background. Or fleeing across the desert on a six star wanted level all while America€™s A Horse With No Name chimes over the sounds of the engine. Maybe they could grow just a little bit of respect for the series, or at the very least appreciate Rockstar's incredible taste in music.
