5 Ways Cyberpunk 2077 Should Follow The Witcher 3's Lead

2. Great Expansions

CD Projekt RED has already been hinting at expansion packs for Cyberpunk 2077 and if they're serious about it, the packs need to be as worthwhile as Witcher 3's.

Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine were virtually two full games disguised as Witcher 3 DLC. The former takes around 10-15 hours to complete and it includes a really strong narrative. The expansion also contains cool boss fights, interesting new characters.

Blood and Wine provides even more content than Hearts of Stone, taking place in a whole new location called Toussaint, with 20-30 hours of new content. The story in Blood and Wine is really strong as well, filled with multiple twists and exciting quests. A new Gwent deck, a new mutation upgrade system and even more new characters make the expansion a substantial package.

Neither of these expansions are required to appreciate The Witcher 3, but they're worthwhile DLCs for any fans of the game. If Cyberpunk 2077 does release expansions they shouldn't be a quick cash grab, they should be fun stand-alone adventures with a wealth of content.
