7 Amazing Fictional Video Game Cities

1. Rapture - The Bioshock Series

Rapture is arguably the most iconic city in video games. An underwater city built on the philosophy of Objectivism, which to put simply is prioritising yourself over anyone else and the idea that there should be minimal government interference (that is in very simple terms). This, in Bioshock's case, leads to a messed up city where no rules really exist. So get ready to witness inhumane experiments galore.

You as protagonist Jack enter this place after a drug called Plasmids makes the citizens go insane with normal people being few and far between. So get ready to navigate an underwater city where everyone in it wants you dead.

You do get to visit a lot of awesome areas in the two games that take place in Rapture, Bioshock and Bioshock 2. Highlights being Fort Frolic, the cities entertainment district and Ryan Amusements, an Objectivist theme park.

You even get a rare glimpse at Rapture when it was operational in Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea, and it looks just as good as you think it would.
