7. Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park is one franchise that never has gotten the video game it deserves, despite several attempts, with the most recent attempt at adapting the world being Telltale Games 2011 episodic point-and-click adventure (much like their The Walking Dead adaption), it received only mixed reviews and was not a success. Other than that there have been no noteworthy Jurassic Park games since the the tie-ins and spin-offs of the films in the 1990s and early 2000s. With a world ripe for a video game adaption, Jurassic Park could be made into several very different but equally awesome games. The possibilities are endless for a possible JP game; the island of Isla Nublar would be perfect for an open-world survival adventure game, or we could even visit Isla Sorna (known as Site B from The Lost World) for a more action-gun based adventure taking on InGen as well as the dinosaurs. A game could encompass so many action-adventure elements down to survival horror if they were going for a more (if highly unlikely) mature theme. With a new Jurassic Park movie in the pipeline, this franchise will be making a big comeback over the next few years and what better way to do this than with a next-generation game.
