Most water levels limit your movement but not The Iron Whale, which is, of course, the Shovel Knight level that actually enhances your movement abilities. The water here allows you to jump ridiculously high.

Jumping the height of the stage adds a ton of unique platforming challenges, and these are just as fun to overcome as the platforming challenges presented in the dryer areas of the game.

The other mechanics that are introduced in the level are a blast as well. Using enemies as projectiles is one of the most entertaining things you'll do in Shovel Knight.

The only thing better than playing through this level is playing through it again in the Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows and Specter of Torment DLC.
