Another Twitter tease HERE, but this time its Sniper Elite developers Rebellion Studios pulling our legs. If you thought you had to get to know your weapons to be an effective sniper, you ain't seen nothing yet.
Proving that, after games like Hatoful Boyfriend, we really can play someone who'll date anything, Rebellion announced that they'd be working on a visual novel-esque dating sim. Promising 'a whirlwind wartime romance', they jokingly released what looks just a screengrab from their dating sim Sniper Elite: Love in Your Sights.
The Sniper-Elite: Love In Your Sights announcement doesn't give much away as to what the simulation might have actually entailed, but maybe it's best nobody knows just how close Karl and his Springfield rifle get whilst out on a mission in the battlefield.
If you've ever wanted to wed your favourite weapon, this may well have whetted your appetite. Sadly, this one piece of key art is all we're going to get from Rebellion, as the joke-laden tweet proved. "20-never" is pretty damn emphatic. Perhaps all is not fair in love and war after all.
