Whilst none of the Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games titles are masterpieces, the initial entry is one of the worst.
The initial Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games is also the only entry in the series that can be called disappointing. You need to be excited for something to be disappointed by it and after everybody played some mediocre mini-games with Mario and Sonic for the first time they knew not to expect anything from future entries.
Now the reason this is quite low on the list is because we all kind of knew what we were getting into with a game called Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games. Nobody went in thinking this would be the ultimate Mario and Sonic crossover we all wanted. They did, however, expect something more than this.
