7 Most Disappointing Video Game Crossovers

5. Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is one of a couple of games on this list that's pretty good, yet still disappointing.

If you pick this game up without playing any other game in the Marvel vs. Capcom series you'll probably be pretty happy. The problem is that the roster included in this game is pathetic in comparison to earlier titles.

Marvel seemed adamant to exclusively feature MCU properties or future MCU properties which left out the X-Men. They were the ones who originally got this franchise up and running with X-Men vs. Street Fighter, so to say their absence was noticeable would be putting it lightly.

You'd at least think that they'd include a sizeable roster to make up for the X-Men's absence. Well they didn't, there are only 30 characters here and six DLC characters in comparison to the excellent Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, which has 56 characters. It's not even close.

Even the relatively disappointing Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds had 36 characters at launch and two more as DLC. And that game actually still has the X-Men.
