7 People You Didn't Know Appear In 3 Different Sports Video Games Genres
1. Brock Lesnar
Since appearing on the cover of WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth, Brock Lesnar has gone on to appear in 18 WWE games, five UFC games and two games showcasing Japan's biggest wrestling promotions.
Seeing Lesnar in a WWE or UFC game is no big surprise, and likewise his appearance in Japan-driven wrestling games is understandable due to his brief tenure in New Japan Pro Wrestling. What's a little more shocking, though, is to realise that the Beast Incarnate turned up in two Madden games in addition to these other 27 gaming appearances.
Brock was available in both Madden 06 and Madden 09, with the eight-time WWE World Champion first turning up as part of a roster update in the 06 game.
This makes Lesnar one of the rare few athletes to have been featured in video games for three different sports - professional wrestling, mixed martial arts and pro football.
Of course, Brock Lesnar never actually made it in the NFL. After quitting WWE in 2004, Lesnar tried out for the Minnesota Vikings, becoming part of their training squad before being cut after a motorcycle crash derailed his hopes of playing for the Vikings.
