7 People You Didn't Know Appear In 3 Different Sports Video Games Genres

2. Snoop Dogg

Brock Lesnar
EA Sports

There is a slight caveat to Snoop Dogg's inclusion in this list, and that caveat is that straight-up beat-em-ups are being classified as a sports game here.

On that front, that means that Snoops' time as Crow in Def Jam: Fight for NY and Fight for NY: The Takeover gives him a spot as part of this feature. In terms of genuine sports games, mind, the Doggfather has EA Sports' Madden and NHL series to his name.

As part of additional content for both Madden 20 and NHL 20, Snoop was made available as a playable character for these games - plus, NHL 20 also served up the option to use the iconic rapper as part of your commentary team.

That's not all for Snoop Doggy Dogg on the video game front, for he also has appearances in True Crime: Streets of LA, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and the martials arts/rap mash-up Way of the Dogg. Back in 2004, Midway announced Fear & Respect, a South Central LA game centred on gangs and earning respect - with Snoop to be a playable character in that.

Despite getting as far as releasing a trailer for Fear & Respect, the game was ultimately cancelled.
