7 Reasons Why There Is No 'Realism' In Pokémon

2. Ghost Pokémon

Ghost Pokemon One of the coolest of the eighteen types ghost Pokémon have been scaring up fun since the games were first released in 1996. But while cats, insects, and horses are common in reality how many ghosts have you come face to face with? Despite claims of paranormal activity there is no abundant ghostly wildlife. How do ghost Pokémon even come to be? Well, according to some Pokedex entries they're actually the souls of previously living beings and not actually a species unto themselves. Take Yamask for instance. It's said to be the spirit of a human that carries a mask of its previous face. So when people die they are reincarnated as ghost Pokémon? I guess that's kind of poetic justice in a way. Banette is said to be the spirit of a doll thrown away by a child. If this is true, how does it evolve from a Shuppet? I suppose that's unknown. But how can any of this this relate to the real world? It can't. Not at all in any way whatsoever.
