7 Reasons Why Overwatch Will Be The Next Big Multiplayer Shooter

To help shed a bit more backstory on the lore of Overwatch, Blizzard released a handful of shorts and trailers. The animation in these are absolutely fantastic, most certainly on-par with the likes of Pixar; facial expressions, movement, detail, sound effects, intense background music - you name it – they all add up and make for a video that's an absolute joy to watch again and again. And they won't be stopping there.

No video is complete without some fight scenes, and the short feuds that take place will have you on the edge of your seat. Thankfully, the occasional humorous and dramatic moment will put a smile on your face and make you feel empathetic for these supposedly-unstoppable warriors.

It goes without saying, that Blizzard could easily make a full-length cinematic. Some might be thinking “Perhaps that's a bit ambitious,” though let's not rule out that possibility in the future. Besides, who could pass up the opportunity to watch Lucio dropping beats against a morbidly-obese, gas mask-wearing biker with a love for wanton destruction and big chunks of metal?

Nonetheless, it will need explosions. Lots and lots of big explosions.
