7 Things We Learned From AEW’s Fight Forever Reveal
2. There’s No Release Date Yet
Meanwhile, this was a bummer.
Anyone tuning into AEW's Twitch stream and hoping for word on exactly when they'll be flying around the ring as Darby Allin would've left disappointed. Evil Uno only had scraps of material to work with and burned through most of it within 15 minutes.
Regrettably, even a tentative release date wasn't on the masked man's format. That means fans are still playing a guessing game about Fight Forever. 2023 is still down as a possible launch date on the rumour mill, but AEW aren't ready to nail down a concrete month (or even year) just yet. Yeah, they might need to start thinking about that soon.
On the plus side, Yuke's are content to take their sweet-assed time on All Elite's very first video game. That shouldn't be considered a bad thing. Products that get rushed out the door, like WWE 2K20, can be disastrous for developers, so it's probs wise for the team to get this one right.
Still, working to a deadline would make sense.
