7 Video Game Post Credits Scenes That Changed EVERYTHING
1. Pey'J's Infection - Beyond Good And Evil
As we twiddle our thumbs and wait another few years for what may indeed be yet another animated short of Beyond Good and Evil 2, at least we can always go back to the classic that inspired this cult following, and let's get something crystal clear, this game is bloody amazing.
Sure the combat can feel a bit floaty, but I challenge you to find another title of this era that did as much with world building and with gameplay variety that was THIS good. Plus talk about a well written narrative! Thanks to incredible central characters and a plot about alien abductions and long lost powers laying dormant within humanity, players were drawn in by the intrigue found around every corner, and as Jade finally defeats the High Priest at the end of the game, things end on a monstrous high.
That is until the post credits scene hits you. As the credits pass by pictures and scenes of tranquility and peace, the camera comes to rest onf Pey'J who is looking out over the ocean. However he's not musing on the Shipping Report or thinking about how scary Emperor Crabs are, as the camera reveals he's got a DomZ spore growing on him!
To end on this moment is genuinely distressing, especially seeing as this log of hog has already been through the grinder in the main story! Plus now we're very aware that we've not even got any antidotes left! AND NOW WE'RE AGAIN AWARE OF HOW LONG WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR A SEQUEL!
