7 Worrying Signs That WWE 2K20 Will Be A Carbon Copy Of 2K19
2. No GM Mode
As any self-respecting WWE video game aficionado will tell you, GM Mode was the best. Allowing you take the role of a general manager in charge of Raw, SmackDown or ECW, it saw you buying and trading superstars, competing for ratings and learning how to manage your show to success. Players have been begging to see it return for literally years.
However, each release comes around and 2K, yet again, completely ignore the universal cries. It's getting to the point of stupidity, fans getting their hopes up year after year that they'll finally see it make its long-awaited return just to be disappointed all over again. 2K even mentioned that they knew it was a fan demand in a recent interview with YouTuber DenkOps, but alas, the mode still hasn't made it into the game.
Career and Showcase mode are great, but we've seen those countless times before. We want GM Mode, and its inclusion would make it the first entry in a long time that fans are beyond excited to play. Without it, it feels as though the game is still stuck in the past, making the same mistake as last year by failing to take on board player feedback. After all, why invest in another year of WWE 2K when it's not giving you what you want?
