7 Worrying Signs That WWE 2K20 Will Be A Carbon Copy Of 2K19
1. Lack Of Modern Roster Additions
You know something's amiss when one of the world champions of your four main brands is not included in the game. Walter not making the cut is yet another example of the WWE 2K games missing out on major superstars, but what's worse is he's not alone. Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe and Kushida all missed the cut as well, the former two even making it into the last game and thus having models ready and waiting to go.
It's yet another example of even the most modern 2K games not always being that up to date, especially when you consider that big selling points to the game are Tommaso Ciampa and Nikki Cross, two figures that have been staples of the company since 2015 and 2016 respectively. This is not entirely a knock on 2K. Lots of time and effort go into making these superstars as well as some hefty contract negotiations.
However, it does make you consider whether upgrading to 2K20 is really worth it? There are plenty of convincing Ciampa, Nikki Cross, Matt Riddle and The Fiend CAWs out there. Why invest forty pounds into the official ones? With so few new superstars making it into the game, 2K19 doesn't seem like all that much of an inferior product.
