There's just one problem with the game though. Chip Damage. And I'm not talking about the damage you take from enemies when blocking, but the fact that for some unknown reason, one of the devs decided to make Sketch take tiny amounts of damage from attacking and destroying objectives.
Now I know that going around in real life and punching steel barrels and wooden pallets is likely to leave you with splinters and tetanus, but this is a video game! So many other titles are fine letting you kick the piss out of a picnic bench, but here in Comix Zone? Well, you're paying the reality tax, my friend.
This can, and indeed did, create situations where you might actually die from just destroying the objects that are blocking your path, as in several instances you'll come across a barricade that might break you before you do it.
Unless you searched every panel for grenades and explosives to clear the way, you might well be doomed to look at that taunting collection of scrap forevermore.
