8 Anticipated Video Games You Can FINALLY Play In 2019
3. Crackdown 3
A front-runner for Xbox Game Pass, 2019 might finally be the year we get to play the long-awaited third installment of Crackdown. First announced at Microsoft's 2014 E3 Press Conference, Crackdown 3 promises completely overblown, utterly ridiculous fun.
This newest instalment has been the poster child for Microsoft Azure, a new engine that enables the whole game environment top be destroyed by players, should they wish. Whilst we're getting the same core gameplay as the first two games, we've been promised a bombastic playground to stomp around and blow up as a cast of agents as we root out criminal mega-corporation Terra Nova from the streets of New Providence by any means necessary.
With so much of Crackdown 3's appeal stemming from this next-level destructive environment, the only major worry about the Xbox's newest flagship title will simply be whether the Xbox One X will be able to handle Microsoft's ambitious title, or whether the game will end up not quite delivering on what was initially shown off.
Hopefully, we'll all be crashing lorries through skyscrapers with Terry Crews' bombastic Commander Jaxon shouting instructions very soon.
