8 Best First Person Shooters Of 2014

4. BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea Episode 2

While BioShock Infinite took us up into the clouds of Columbia, it was only a matter of time until series creator Ken Levine took another trip back down to Rapture. Little did everyone know that it would be a conclusion to Levine's entire run with the BioShock series; a fantastic litte DLC package known as Burial at Sea. This two-part adventure saw the series go back to its dark roots, telling an incredible story of betrayal and redemption that has some real pathos to it. Burial at Sea Episode 2 put the player into the shoes of Infinite's AI companion Elizabeth, a bold move that completely changed how one can experience BioShock. Instead of your usual strategy of blazing gunfire, Episode 2 forced you to see the world from Elizabeth's eyes and think more strategically. It was exactly what made the original BioShock such a wonderful experience, a combination of fear and adrenaline that few shooters can match. Burial at Sea brought BioShock back to basics, and Episode 2 was a perfect way for the series to go out.
