These days, it's hard to find a game as deceptively fun as Titanfall and it's even harder to find one that has an online component just as exciting. The mech-on-mech and mech-on-man combat in Titanfall is truly spectacular to watch, while being even more fun to participate in. There's a lot of joyful madness to be had with a copy of Titanfall, especially if you've got some friends to blow stuff up with. It's just one of the many games on this list that has a reputation built largely from its multiplayer, but it's one of the most fun times you'll have in a lobby this year. There's a very organic sense of escalation as you play it, with a faster road to the Titan combat being served up as an incentive to become a better player. Titanfall may not have a strong single-player component, but that really doesn't matter when you realize that you just stomped on your buddy's head with a mech.
