Sometimes video games will allow players to walk a path of such bizarrely specific evil that you have to take a step back and say "what in the hell is going on here?"

Case and point, in Maniac Mansion, the lusciously witty and tricky puzzle point and click title, it's possible for you to engage in the needless and horrific murder of an animal and then present the remains of said butchery to the owner as further means of torture.

Sounds pretty grim right? Well, that can easily be said of the way that the player is able to pop a hamster inside a microwave and turn it on making for a rather messy and completely evil act of murder.

The game even censors the remains of the poor creature because it's too graphic, however doesn't afford the owner such honors as you can present the furry exploded burrito of a pet to them leading to a horrified response.

However, before you can truly let the evil cackles fly, the owner straight up murders you in response as the game cuts to an unmarked grave. Hell, the fact that the owner took the time to bury you after what you did to his pet is proof perfect how much of a morality gap there is between the two of you.
