The Finch House from What Remains of Edith Finch is one of the most detailed, meticulously designed buildings in any video game.

You walk into a character's room and it feels real, every little detail will reflect their personality to the point where you could easily spend hours just searching throughout the house taking everything in and learning about the Finch family.

For those who don't know, What Remains of Edith Finch is a game where you walk from room to room in a crazy house reliving the deaths of all of Edith's family.

It's a tragic yet hopeful tale and I won't spoil any of the specifics of the game because you need to play it. You'd think saying that all of the Finch's minus Edith are dead is a spoiler but that's established very early on.

Whilst these deaths don't all take place in the Finch House, you're technically just reading or reliving the story as Edith who is in the house so it qualifies for the list. Oh, and you walk to the house in a two-minute sequence at the beginning of the game - I guess I'm a fraud.
