8 Greatest Video Game DLCS Of All Time

6. Bioshock 2: Minerva's Den

Now here’s the thing my little barnacles, I love Bioshock, I know what a surprise right seeing as I bang on about it all the time, but today I get to be a spicy little scallop because not only do I get to talk about the franchise once more, but I get to plop a big wet middle finger in the face of everyone who hated Bioshock 2, because you know as well as I do that this game had the best DLC of the entire franchise in the form of Minerva's Den.

In this submerged standalone adventure you play as Sigma aka the biggest of Big Daddy who has been given the task of retrieving the programming code from a rogue AI known as the Thinker. Now we need the Thinker because it has the cure to all the ADAM poisoning that's been going on, but the quest is anything but simple.

Filled with delightful narrative twists and doubling down on the action-heavy shooting, Minerva's Den manages to express what makes the series so good without ever overstaying its welcome. You'll be depressed twofold when it comes to the close of this adventure as not only is the ending a tear-jerker but you'll be sad that there's simply not more of it.
