Now Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is not a game that takes itself too seriously. It's hilariously over the top in places and is a constant mix of brooding sexy vampires who dole out dialogue so cheesy the fromagerie has been on the phone and a wonderful B-Movie delight.

In fact, there promises to be so much schlocky and campy fun that it threatens to spill out into the real world as well, for when the player arrives in Los Angeles only to be ambushed by some Sabbat vampires, one of the fanged scenery chewers turns to the camera and states,"Those of you in the first few rows, will get wet!"

It's such a cheesy interaction with the player that the ambushing group might well land a few hits on you as you're reeling from laughter. You can elicit more strange "aware that they're in a video game" moments if you choose to be a Malkavian, which are basically this games version of Deadpool aka so unhinged that they believe their reality to be false.

And to be fair to them, it is!
