7. Batman: Arkham Insurgency

You can check out all the details on Warner Bros. new Arkham game over here, as we always knew - following Arkham Origins proving WB would continue the series without Rocksteady - that another instalment would drop eventually.

Indeed, Insurgency is another prequel set after Origins, and just two years after Batman first teams up with Robin. The story is reportedly based on Scott Snyder's fantastic Court of Owls arc, which sees Bruce get completely dominated by an Illuminati-style force deep within Gotham's underbelly - a plot which will run parallel to yet another Arkham and Blackgate prison breakout (they've gotta get the name in there somehow).

Confirmation of this game's existence comes from the fact the original post from a Warner Bros. employee has since been deleted (the same thing that happened for Spider-Man before E3 2016 and Fallout 4 the year before), giving legitimacy to the details therein.
