8 Nintendo Franchises That Need To Come To The Switch
2. F-Zero
Another franchise that sorely deserves a place in the Switch lineup would be F-Zero. Despite the fact that everyone knows who Captain Falcon is, the series hasn't made an effective resurgence for a few generations now, with the incredible F-Zero GX soon to be arriving at its 14th birthday.
The difficult high-speed racing title is one of the most exhilarating racing games on the market. F-Zero's focus on reflex-based gameplay would be a nice fit for the Switch's responsive Joy-Con controllers and juxtapose the family-friendly Mario Kart.
The jump in graphical prowess would also mean that the futuristic world of Mute City could be fully realised in glorious HD.
Whilst the multiplayer battle modes in F-Zero GX were a tonne of fun, it would be incredible to see a fully fledged online mode where you could race against your friends. The Joy-Cons could also be used for painting and customising your vehicles too, a full overhaul on the GX emblem editor being a welcome addition to bring the series up to speed in the current generation.
