8 Nintendo Franchises That Need To Come To The Switch

Here we are. The proverbial 'Ace in the hole'.

Nintendo has proven that they can release Pokemon on any console and it will sell incredibly well. The imaginative world of Pocket Monsters is relatable to just about anyone who has ever picked up a game console, so the freedom they have with the franchise for the Switch is something to behold.

Nintendo could easily make a Pokemon Snap 2 that would utilise the Joy-Cons as a camera, in a fully updated gorgeous world with a new feature set. Pokemon Sun and Moon paved the way for photos with filters and contained a stripped back version of the N64 classic, so it's certainly something present in the mind of developers Game Freak. A new Pokemon Colosseum style RPG or even Pokemon Stadium wouldn't be something to frown at either. Imagine the excellent sushi eating minigame with the Joy-Con controllers. That is something I'd like to see!

On top of this, they could easily bring a main franchise game to the console with updated HD graphics that were as of yet impossible on the 3DS. Emulation has shown how beautiful Pokemon Sun and Moon can be, and the ability to bring your console with you whilst keeping the graphics on par with other modern titles would make for the ultimate Pokemon experience.

What do you think of the Nintendo Switch lineup so far? Can you think of any other franchises that would invigorate the console's lineup? Let us know in the comments below!
