So you might be thinking to yourself after seeing a few of these entries "Hoo boy, I sure don't fancy any of this nonsense happening to me. You know what? I'm going to play things safe and play some games on Easy mode!" and to you my friend, I salute you, because difficulty should not dictate what you get out of a video game experience.

There's no shame in playing a game on a difficulty that suits a more relaxed playstyle and as long as you're having fun who the heck cares whether you're on Insane Ultra Hard or not? Well before you commit to the more travelled road, maybe just check which game you're playing first, as some, believe it or not absolutely screw you over by playing on Easy.

Take for example Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol which thanks to an issue with the game's code, shipped with a pretty horrible bug that caused the Hardest and Easiest difficulties to be switched! This meant that you were utterly, totally boned if you chose "Private" difficulty as the title would totally kick you in yours from the off!
