8 Reasons To Be Excited For Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX

5. Re:coded

Chances are, many reading this haven't played Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, the Nintendo DS remake of the original Japanese-only mobile game Kingdom Hearts coded that you most definitely haven't played. As the series' least well-received entry, it's no surprise that Square isn't going through the trouble of making it a full and complete playable experience, opting instead to make its cutscenes a theatrical presentation akin to 358/2 Days in the 1.5 ReMIX, complete with all new scenes and ties to the series at large. While it may not be the best game the series has to offer and most people will likely jump straight into Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep before giving it the time of day, its inclusion is nonetheless an important and exciting one worth being thankful to have. Like 358/2 Days, Re:coded could've easily been written off as an expendable effort by Square, but fortunately they've stuck to their guns in making sure fans can get the whole scope of the Kingdom Hearts experience.
