Such self-aggrandising claims are delivered with the release of every instalment of every popular video game franchise, and must always be taken with a pinch of salt - but 2K Sports could be legitimately on to something this year. Revelations about 2K16 have been relatively piecemeal so far, with several blogs, videos and interviews revealing small details here and there. However, when these various bits and pieces are put together, it looks as though the game could be something very special indeed, perhaps even the best basketball video game of all time. 8. It Looks Awesome

First and foremost, NBA 2K16 looks amazing. The graphics been given their expected annual polish, but the way the players move around the court has also been given an overhaul to ensure maximum realism. Thanks to their use of 'foot-planting technology', the developers have improved the look and feel of the 2K franchise. Whereas previous instalments may have had players almost gliding across the court, with relatively little sense of weight distribution or momentum, now players will lean, weave, stumble and collide in far more convincing fashion.
