8 Reasons Ratchet And Clank Is The Best PS4 Exclusive So Far
3. Weapons That Are Consistently Exciting To Unlock
Speaking of the Groovitron, it's returned and looks better than ever. As a weapon you can fire at enemies that immediately turns everything from lowly grubs up to towering aliens into disco-dancing phenoms, it never gets old encountering an enemy and seeing what their boogie animation will be.
And that's just one weapon. Standard blasters, grenades and sniper rifles are on-hand too, but it's the likes of the above, the chat-happy robo- helper Mr. Zurkon, the de-rezzing Pixelator or the does-what-it-says-on-the-tin Sheepinator that keep the chuckles coming alongside the explosions.
You only really get to unlock a couple of new guns per level, which keeps the flow of everything tight and consistent. You'll just be getting used to something or trying out a new weapon, only for another to show up in the Gadgetron vendor - a great way to introduce you to every last one.
