3. Nobody Identifies Makarov At The Airport - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's "No Russian" is the most controversial mission in the series' history, as the player goes undercover with terrorist Vladimir Makarov while his team commits a mass shooting at a Russian airport.

At the end of the mission, however, Makarov reveals that he knew you were undercover the entire time, killing your character and leaving their corpse to be discovered by the authorities, in turn implicating the U.S. in the attack.

What's truly bizarre, however, is that despite this, Makarov - again, a super high-profile mega-terrorist - doesn't wear a mask during the assault, and yet inexplicably isn't quickly identified through the airport's surveillance systems.

After all, the post-mission cutscene even shows the airport's cameras being used to zoom in on a bullet used in the attack and identify that it came from Brazil, so why the hell wouldn't Makarov have been ID'd in a mere matter of seconds, ensuring his plan instantly went up in smoke?

The real answer, of course, is that any Call of Duty campaign is best enjoyed as a big, dumb, loud Michael Bay movie that's allergic to anything beyond surface-level logic - and that's just fine.
