8 Ridiculous Video Game Plotholes We Love Anyway
2. How Did B.J. Blaskowitz Stay In Shape? - Wolfenstein: The New Order

At the start of Wolfenstein: The New Order, ass-kicking protagonist B.J. Blaskowitz is seriously injured and held in a Polish asylum where he remains in a catatonic state for a whopping 14 years.
Yet when B.J. finally snaps out of it - as one does - and the player takes control of him, there's virtually no adjustment period whatsoever.
Blaskowitz is immediately back to his hell-raising self - his muscles haven't atrophied at all and he's looking every bit as swole as ever despite spending the better part of 15 years confined to a wheelchair.
This obviously doesn't vibe with basic science, but also, it's a Wolfenstein game - adhering to rigid scientific principles went out the window a long time ago.
But the fun answer - which also happens to be the best and correct answer - is that B.J.'s physical wellbeing was sustained solely by his white-hot hatred for the Nazi scum.
His body simply wouldn't allow him to degenerate physically because it knew, at a cellular level, that he had so much more Nazi-murdering left to do.
